WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Two students from Pakuranga College have won a science film competition with a five minute film about medical research.

Christian Jones and Allen Feng were among 16 students who were finalists in the inaugural Freemasons Reel Science Film Festival competition run by the Royal Society of New Zealand.

Handing over the prize!

The winners of the most popular vote contest, Wellington High School students Orion Holder-Monk, Jordan Keen and Wilson Cain present the cam-corder worth $1,000 to Prue Kelly, Principal at Wellington High School.


Six Finalists Announced

Judging of all films took place in the second week of May.  Six films were selected as finalist.  Students in these six teams have won an all expenses paid trip to Dunedin where they will make another 4-5 minute film.
